Day training, or day school, is when an owner drops their dog off in the morning, the trainer runs short training sessions through the day, and the owner picks up in the evening. The dog goes home every night, unlike a board and train stay.

How is day training different from board & train in HeelYeah?

Board & train is a continuous multi-day residential program with a structured intake and nightly summaries. Day training is a per-day service with its own roster, daily capacity per trainer, recurring bookings, and an end-of-day report card. They are separate modules, and you can run both.

Can owners see how the day went?

Yes. As you log updates through the day, the owner's report card updates live in their own portal. There is no share step and no texting. You can also generate an AI end-of-day summary and review it before the owner sees it.

Can clients book day training themselves?

Only if you turn it on. Client self-booking is off by default; when enabled, clients request a day and the request is checked against your daily capacity before it is accepted.

How does billing work for day training?

When you complete a day, HeelYeah! either generates a per-day invoice (including a late-pickup fee if one applies) or draws the day down from a prepaid package. Invoices are paid through Stripe from the client's portal.
